Story as posted on Social Media: My brand new 2017 F450 King Ranch!! (On fire) Didn't even own it for 10 hours and Ford Canada said its not there problem!!!
"We have completed our initial investigation into the Super Duty in Canada and have determined it was caused by an incorrect repair after the truck was produced. We are not aware of any other incidents and we are taking action to prevent this from happening in the future. In this unique case, the customer returned the affected truck and received a refund."
I wonder if some of the comments of the videos are true and someone filled the DEF tank with diesel. If diesel was getting injected into the SCR instead of DEF (which is mostly water), it would cause some flames out of the tail pipe. How someone can put diesel in that tiny little DEF filler tube, i have no idea.
I don't see anywhere on the letter where it says that Ford Canada says it's not their problem. Only that they don't have a vehicle return policy. Policy is to repair under the terms of the factory warranty.
Not sure why whoever is having the problem couldn't understand that.. that's normal. But, okay.

And have them meet you at the dealer's parking lot...if they won't allow then out on the street in front of their dealership
It is obvious fuel is getting into the exhaust system but where is the fuel coming from? The engine sounds normal so not likely a stuck injector, I'm thinking someone put diesel in the DEF tank, is this a possibility?
