I would wager that if they put in auto mode like they should, then they would have less braking events. Pickuptrucks.com recorded less braking events in auto mode versus full when they tested it a few year ago.
They only had 3 brake event in auto mode and 5 in full at Davis Dam. At Eisenhower pass they only had 4 brake touches in auto and 5 in full. I am not sure if they had it in cruise control in auto mode or not(like they did with the GM), but if they didn't then that auto mode number would probably be less if they did.
