It appears to be the same.
If thats true it will probably drive Andersen Hitch company crazy, as they are coming out with the puck system Andersen Ultimate fifth wheel hitch that will fit all three, Ford, Gm, and Ram fifth wheel hitch preps.
Looks like they will have to market two different hitches for Ford if the 2017 is changed. So far as I know Ram will be staying the same on the the fifth wheel prep.
I will have to assume Andersen's weight rating will not be to your liking :)
