Along with, all three, raising their pricing to insane levels. Offering big discounts that still leave them overpriced for those who get emotionally attached to them as soon as they get on the lot. My son is that way. I'm sure there are some savvy buyers on this forum but, IMO, most people overpay for their vehicles. Buddy down the street just bought a 1500 Ram ecodiesel. Retired and putts around town with it. His son and the son and SIL of the friend across the street are the same way. They bought used Ford 6.0 within the last 2 years. I advised them against it. None hardly leave town. One cratered within a month to the tune of $6,000 +. Had it done at the local Ford dealer and traded it in on a used Ram from same dealer. Told me he thought the previous owner had used fuel from a tank on the FARM. Another hauled off by wrecker and I never saw again. The 3rd was quickly traded. All three had bragging rights of having a diesel for an expensively short time.
