I agree many people buy what they don't need and have high levels of debt that they struggle with. There are also many people who could easily afford $100,000 for a vehicle. I guess the problem is that too many people can't seem to discipline themselves to buy only what they can afford. It is probably common for wealthy people to be driving old $20,000 trucks and people who struggle with finances to drive the fancy new ones.
