Me too. It seems that there are options for better fuel economy for these HD pickups, but I have to wonder about the cost and reliability.
I'm sure you could put a two speed rear in these trucks... one for hauling and one for highway... but at what cost and what reliability?
We are seeing 8 speed transmissions make their way into light duty trucks, when will we see them in the HD pickups? Again... at what cost and what reliability?
It will be interesting to see what the future holds, thats for sure!
