These trucks have had clean tailpipes since the first DPF truck back in 2007. 10 years now...
Yes the technology works. I can put my face up to the tailpipe on my 2012 LML and it smells like the air coming out of a dryer vent. The downside to all of this is all the sensors that come along with making this technology work. One sensor goes bad and you can find yourself on the side of the road in limp mode.
