2017 Ram 68RFE Question

Was this a pretty reliable transmission? Looking at a 2017 2500 with it that has about 75k miles on it.
  • I would actually prefer more miles on a diesel. That means it was mainly used on the highway and not so much city driving which is what kills these new emissions diesels.

Thanks for the info. It will stay at stock power, don't really need anymore than what it has for our trailer.

That is a lot of miles on a 2017 rig. Was it used commercially?

    X2
Even if bought the end of 2016 that is three years, and 25k a year. When we bought our 2001 used in fall of 2010 it had 234k on it it was an early 2001 so just shy of 11 years just over 20k a year.
  • “Actually, they are all reliable IF you take care of them as in change the fluid and filter.”

Except on my 2019 Silverado...no dip stick.
