Really no difference in the new ones VS the one you are looking at but a bit more HP/TQ. So you are looking at a DRW then as that is a 14k GVWR. Simply put that is a BS number that keeps the tuck in Class 3 for insurance and licensing purposes. FACT is my unloaded front axle is around 5,250#. Now ad that to the SAE RAWR of 9,750#. HMMMMMMM, that equals 15k. simply buy the tonnage that is correct for your truck and forget the GVWR and go by the SAE axle ratings.
