Have the dealer enable the “Exhaust Filter Percent Full” screen on your dash. That way you will know when it’s about to regen, when it starts, and how long the regen cycle lasts. On the 2016 models, the technician had to plug in his laptop, and enable an option that (if I remember right) was called “Manual Exhaust Filter Cleaning”, but it DOESN’T actually let you initiate a manual regen. It only enables a screen that shows you the soot load in the DPF.
