Why would you want a motor with less torque and a far peakier torque-curve.
To be honest, the 10 speed isn't necessary to keep the EcoBoost in its powerband. The non-turbo motors in the F150 actually will benefit far more than the 3.5L EcoBoost. Even the defunct (in half-tons) 6.2L only made more torque above 4500.
