2019 F450 and tire pressure monitor
I just figured out that my shiny new F450 while set up to monitor trailer tire pressure, won't monitor its own tires. What a colossal bummer. So wondering why a modern Ford truck is missing this ...

The OP found a 21st century vehicle monitoring system that isn't a "required" piece of safety gear. I say Hallelugiah. Not that I don't like TPMS, it's actually one of the more useful new vehicle functions. But in general, a lot of the mandatory safety systems on today's vehicles are designed to save you from yourself. Advantageous to the novice or driver, but definitely a hazard to the experienced driver. (Namely active braking....but others also hinder the ability of a person to control their vehicle themselves.)
