- Cummins12V98Explorer IIIBro in Law had a Ranger a few years ago it was a great truck, I assume this will be also.
First thing I would do is RIP that STUPID (IMHO) "FX4" sticker off each side.
Fish I actually owned a 99 XLT with the 4.0 V6 it was slightly darker copper color with a painted to match canopy I got trading my 90 Corvette. Thought about commuting with it but my 98 12V got as good and getter mileage so sold it. Really liked the truck. - Here's a picture... It'll be interesting to see if they do a regular cab and extended cab.
- blofgrenExplorerIt looks great; good job, Ford!
There have been many Rangers in my family over the years including a 2000 S/C 4x4 XLT that I drove as my work truck for 10 years. All were great trucks.
I was shocked when they discontinued the Ranger and GM has had a real winner with the Colorado so I'm sure Ford is looking to regain that market. Travlingman wrote:
I like it. Will be interesting to see what the final engine specs will be. Do like the looks, interior looks good. Surprised they only went to Lariat for the high trim, I can see higher levels as it starts selling. Thanks for the link.
I agree this is one good lookin truck- Captain_HappyExplorerUse to own a 2010 Ranger, 4- liter V6, manual tranny. Had it all setup to tow 4 down. Sold the MH and traded the Ranger for a 2017 Tacoma. This new Ranger kinda looks like the Tacoma's bodystyle.
