According to this recent report, not in the US. Canada has better quality diesel vs the US. Been that way for many years. Canada diesel meets Bosch quality requirements.

I have owned 3 diesel trucks since 1996, have done all of my own maintenance and never seen any trace whatsoever of water in the fuel/water separators in any of them. Saying that, the CP4 failures have occurred here in Canada as well.
