2020 F450 owners

Do you think your truck sits any higher or lower (unloaded) compared to a F350 dually?
What are your rpms (when not towing) at 70 mph?
What is your highway mpg when not towing?
Thanks
  • If you’re actually planning on buying a new truck, a lot of your questions could be answered yourself by your own research and by simply dropping by a dealership and looking at the trucks.
  • Anxiously waiting for responses. Thought of the F450 for a 3 slide truck camper.
  • A vehicle with a 31.9" inch tire diameter, 4.30 rear axle ratio, and .632:1 final gear(10-speed) ratio will be at 2,000 rpm at 70 mph. The older 2011-2019 with the 6-speed trans, which has a .674:1 final gear ratio, would be at 2,130 rpm at 70.
  • Assuming that you are looking at the pickup version of the F450 with a crew cab the factory specs are 0.6" higher in 4wd and 2.3" higher in the 2wd versions.Ford super-duty truck specs

The F450 turns sharper due to having the wider front end but in the pickup version it actually is rated to carry less. The pickup version is tailored for trailer pulling, not for weight carrying. So it is a toss-up as to which one would be better suited for a slide in. If you want to go with a flat bed all of that changes. You can see the details here:
