Randall did say he would pre-wire for solar, air conditioning, and television, in order to provide my own. I never thought about asking if I could provide my own countertops and stainless steel sink. But if he would allow this, I would definitely go with Host, so maybe I should ask.
Host now has the queen with full wardrobe as an option on the Cascade only, since the Mammoth has that dual entrance to the bedroom.
Host is actually pretty reasonably priced as a base. It is the options that kill you. And it is easy to start picking these out like an overstuffed candy bowl left on the porch at Halloween. But I clenched my teeth and only added about $2,000 in options, all pre- wire and pre-plumbed stuff.
I will find much better WiFi TVs. a WiFi Booster, a quieter AC, and a huge solar/battery package that will put me back about $15K, so I am not gaining much financially, but will have great off grid camper.
My F450 arrives in March so it is getting close.
