2020 Ram 2500/3500: MotorTrend Truck of the Year

Nice award for the RAM marketers. They didn’t make substantial enough changes to get me back in the market.

Best innovations in my mind go to GM with that 10 speed transmission and that camera that “sees” behind the trailer. That’s pretty cool.

Seems to me that it is a different truck every year. If one was any better than the others there would consistently be repeat winners. Just a way to sell magazines because it creates controversy. The owners of that truck love to brag about it. The owners of the other brands love to complain about it.

Interesting. Usually decided by who has the newest truck revision. For instance when the new Tahoe comes out it will be SUV of the year.

I don't put too much stock in the truck of the year awards especially when they don't test them all and mix midsize trucks with 1500s and HDs.
