Conventional aluminum house siding would not work. The first problem would be the depth of the profile. This would cause a real problem around doors and windows. Second problem is it is relatively thin and would not stand up well. I think within a season or two it would look like it had been through a heavy hail storm! Third is that to me...it would just look weird.
