22' travel trailer rebuild from the frame up - NEED HELP!

I have an 87 Fleetwood Prowler Lynx that is finally showing it's age. I have some rot in a number of places and it's very outdated. I am seriously considering tearing it down and completely rebuilding...

For those that have done a trailer renovation, is it best to run wiring from the load center (to outlets and such) through the ceiling/roof or through the floor?
