I have an 2012 2500HD long bed Xtra cab 4x4 6.0, Same as Ksss 7-10 towing a 5000 lb trailer no mods to the truck as of yet, so bone stock thats about as good as it gets.
With that being said, I upgraded to this truck from a F150 HD 1/2 ton 5.4 SCREW 4x4 that got a little better maybe 10-12, but all in all I am VERY Happy with my Silverado 3/4 ton 6.0, It is what it is,, the feds do not make manufactures post fuel mpgs on 3/4 ton and above,,,,,,,,because your buying a truck not an SUV. For the pain of reaching in the wallet to fill up the 36 gallon tank, it is relieved by the reassurance of having a capable truck well within it towing capacity..
