2500 Ram payload

It should be around that, gas 3/4 tons usually will have higher payload then their diesel version. My truck has 2997 lbs payload where as the same truck with the diesel is around 2500 on my buddies 09. Due to the heaviness of the engine is the reason. And like others said the door jamb is the most accurate guid to go by.
