The last time a group of Ford guys invited a ram/cummins guy to a up hill truck pull in Ohio the guy with a tuned cummins burned up several pistons requiring a engine rebuild.
And to add injury to insult the new Ford trucks still out pulled that ram.
I saw that video and read the guy's comments in the forum. The idiot Cummins owner left it on the highest horsepower tune instead of dialing it back to a lower horsepower tune safe for towing. From what I saw, it seemed like the pistons and turbo were shot about a quarter of the way up because the exhaust gases were so hot overcoming that first hill.
