285/75R/16 tires

Who is running them?
Truck; SRW/DRW?
What size wheels?
OEM or aftermarket wheels?
Rear axle weight?
What brand?
Do you like them (why/why not)?
Have you run any other brand 285/75/16 and if so, which brand do you prefer and why?
How are they in winter conditions?

Thanks,
Bill

    Please read thread title...285/75/16
  • I had Bridgestone Duravis on my '07 Chevy SRW 3500. I grossed about 11,500 with my camper on and boat hooked up. The tires gave excellent service.

  • Truck: SRW
What size wheels: 16 x 6.5 with 8 lug 6.5 bolt circle (GM)
    OEM or aftermarket wheels: OEM
    Rear axle weight: 6660
    What brand: Firestone
Do you like them: Yes. They give me peace of mind concerning weight, although I think they will wear too fast in the center due to the narrower rims. I'm still looking for an acceptable steel replacement 8" wheel.
Have you run any other brand 285/75/16 and if so, which brand do you prefer and why: No
  • SRW 7" alcoa rims ran BFG now running michlein happy with these tires.
