3.5 Ecoboost towing 5th wheel mileage?

Read lots of reports of the great power of these trucks and mileage solo, but nobody talks about towing with a boxey fifth wheel.
My old Dodge Cummins always got 12.5 to 13.5 with my 29ft Golden Falcon.
I now need a truck mostly for solo driving, and short (300) mile camping trips. No more cross country.
I didn't think there ever would be a half ton that would handle this trailer.

    I'll have to disagree with you on that one. A TT can have better aerodynamics than a 5er sticking way up in the sky. It comes down to frontal area. Wind is not your friend unless it's at your back.

    I saw a rig just like yours leaving Cherrystone when I was there the first full week of August. We went up to Castaways the following week. I remember seeing the F150 towing a fairly large fifth wheel and thinking man that has to be more than a handful. I'm starting to see more and more of them around so it must work out ok.

    No, was down at OC, MD in August.

    If considering the Ecoboost for 5th wheels, order the 8200 pounds GVWR package!
