Yes, 3/4 ton truck can and do flip on their tops.. they just simply don't handle like a car. They have gotten much better in recent years, but physics are what they are...the pull of gravity is a constant and a lower center of gravity gives a vehicle greater opportunity to handle well and keep the tire side down. The problem with the Fashion Statement crowd is that they drive trucks like cars...
I read somewhere at some time that most RV rollovers actually come from the TV flipping and rolling the trailer. I wish I could find that source again.
