The Ram 2500 payload rating is 1,751 lbs on the long wheel base. The 2500 rear frame section is different to accommodate the coil springs vs the 3500 with a strait frame fail.

Ford's F350 has a larger spring pack and a totally different rear differential vs. the F250

Chevy's 3500 has a larger spring pack vs. the 2500
