No 3/4 ton trucks.

Not sure if it is the ugly front end, the wide hips, the marker lights, or the tall stance, but I enjoy mine and the fact that people stay out of my way and think twice about pulling out in front of me!

That first shot on the youtube vid looks like the rear end of a wood chipper.

I remember the kick back in '88 when they moved away from the square body. No internet then, but man there were some upset GM people. Life goes on.

I like the new look, I've said it before. It was time for a change. I bet lots of the older guys here were mad when they changed from 8 tracks to tape decks also. Or went to power windows! Its all good, you can buy what you like. Thats why we live in the USA. If you dont like it, dont buy it.

Ive owned a lot more GM trucks than other brands since the late '50s. I always thought the '67 chevy, I had, front end was the butt ugly winner but the '21 chevy HDs front end have it beat.

I'm looking at the GMC HDs with a classy looking front ends.

My home town has a chevy and Ford dealer. Both lots are loaded with 1/2 tons and a few one ton DRW trucks but only 2-3 stripper 3/4 or one ton SRW work trucks. Both dealers say their sold as they come off the truck and the district sales people say the factory assy lines can't keep up with sales.

Sit in the seat, drive it, look over the hood - what do you see, the road. Can't tell if the truck is ugly or beautiful, or just a truck. It's the ride that matters, and the haul-ability. Otherwise, you can always buy a Honda Accord for a lot less money. :) :) :)

GM's HD marketshare has increased since 2020. You might not like the looks of them, but they are selling regardless.
