3/4up to a fl60

looking to buy a larger rv to full time in.

at this time i have a sick F250.
not sure about towing cap, breaking abilty, etc.
works great with my 25 footer does not even know its there.
but for full time? with a 35-40 foot rv?
how about a bit of good and bad about what you use?
was looking at older fl60's but told that older units are baned cause of lack of a filter.
and all newer units need to burn a caustic has-mat chem in the exhaust. more to maintain.
or are rv laws not the same as comercial laws here?

my lifes work has been driving so no issues there.
everything but has-mat on my cdl.

  • Not to say that anyone should do this, but "where" you fulltime may make a difference to you. Once you leave certain states the ability to delete some power robbing items does become possible since many states dont require extensive inspections and testing.
Choose wisely where you fulltime domicile your truck.
  • Today's modern 350/3500 duallies handle 35-40 5th wheels just fine. Chris
  • Something isn't adding up?????

You are a professional truck drivers but are asking some questions I would expect a truck driver to be well aware of.

Maybe a little more clarification is needed.
