I have factory air bags. If I were to do it over I would go with the std leafs. As mentioned above, no aftermarket upgrades available. Would like to add sway bar, but helwig doesn’t make one for these trucks. May end up replacing the rear suspension or possibly the truck.

I had ordered a ram 3500 drw gas 6.4 truck last fall and did not get the factory air system because I had found that there are no after market suspension products for that system such as sway bars, that said, I later found that there are no sway bars available for the 6.4 gas rams due to the exhaust system location( with out major modifications) so if I knew then that I could not add a sway bar on the regular suspension due the exhaust system I may have gone with factory air . I have read people are happy with factory air for TC use, have also read it shuts down if overloaded but someone that has it may have first hand knowledge of the operation.
