I agree that a DRW truck will tow better due to the added width and stability.
Our Jayco Eagle 338RETS is 42' overall with a frame mounted cargo tray and truck toolbox (not shown in pic), with our Excursion and Hensley Arrow hitch the total overall length is 63'. The combo tows well, very comfortable. The EX has had it's suspension upgraded to F-350 springs plus a few leaves and other goodies. The 2 valve V-10 delivers a solid 9.0 MPG with this setup.
