We had the 3.5L EB and it had as much torque and power we could ask for. When I ordered it, I spec'd it out. I had the Max Tow Package, but also got the HD package in a 4 X 4 Crew Cab. It had more payload than any F250 on the lot and within 100 lbs of the F350s. We had 50K on it and were just worried that it might not be in for the long haul. Someone locally bought it and we still see it towing a 30' long trailer filled with two side by side 4X4s. I saw him at Lowe's a few months ago and he said he had 125K on it now and it was still towing away.
Show me that from the Ford spec sheets. There is no 150 that has the weight capacities close to an F350. Why would Ford build F250's & 350's when all the needed to build was F150 with all the tow capabilities. By the way that maxed F150 costs about what an F250XLT would cost you.
You will run out of pay load on that F150, with RV, passengers, equipment.
