Check out the 199 RB at 4500 GVWR and the 219 RKS with a small slide at 5600 GVWR. - DSteiner51Explorer
14 years, well over 60K miles. From the Carolina, Kentucky, mountains to the Rockies.
For a couple in state trips: - ruppriderExplorerPretty much what I've found/expected. Thanks
- buckyExplorer III agree with Dodge Guy on the bars over the windows, looks like a very stout rig.

Here is a neat Video showing how our friends down under handle fivers with these smaller trucks.
Thanks!

Thanks, Jeremiah. Still the payload has to be much more than 1600lbs to be effective.
Same relatively small diesel as the Colorado, but vastly more payload - RobertRyanExplorer

With a tow rating of 3500-7000 lbs depending on package, and max cargo capacity of 1620lbs, good luck.
The equivalent of the Colorado/ Canyon here can tow a 26ft lightweight 5th wheel with few problems. But not with a payload of 1600lbs. - jmckelvyExplorer

I've seen a lot of RV's over the years but never one with bars on the windows. Sure glad I don't live where that one is stored!
Going by the pic and flipped axle on air bags! I would have to say those bars are to protect the windows when driving down a rough dirt road! Extreme boondocking, or just ready for the zombies! - jerem0621Explorer IIJust fab up a goose-neck hitch and use the Andersen. Should be simple enough.
No it will not tow a 35 ft long and 13 ft high fiver, but there were tons made back in the day that would be a great match to these capable Colorado's.
I'm thinking Old School Shadow Cruiser and the such.
Too bad the true half ton towable fivers are no longer made. I think there would be a market for them if they would just get their marketing programs together.
Thanks!
Jeremiah
