I can't comment directly to the hitch you are looking at as as my Ram didn't have the factory prep with pucks and I installed the rails.
But I did buy a B&W 16k Patriot rail version. I have only done a roughly 25 mile test pull for setting my height adjustments and such. So far I am extremely excited and pleased with the hitch! The quality of the welds, powder coat finish, adjustability, and ease of removal are exceptional!
You may not need the extra capacity, but I honestly believe it would be nearly impossible to not be happy with the hitch.
If the weight of the hitch is your biggest concern, I'd say to also check out the Anderson Ultimate.
