That's not bad at all... Relatively flat land or any hills? My buddy just bought a 2015 6.4 and he tows about 7000 lbs bumper pull in the Appalachian hills of central Pennsylvania a lot. He doesn't get that good of mileage.

Mostly flat, not much for wind yesterday, ran 89 octane as an experiment. Hitting the hills and mountains today. I will try to get some video as I tow up the mountain grades.

Oh, and Temps were in the 80s...ac on all day. Took the pic at sunset, outside temps had dropped off by then to the 73 you see in the EVIC.

Here's the fluid temps -- they hovered in this range all day long. This is towing at 21k combined in low 80 ambient temps with the AC on.

I have the same truck. I pulled a 8000# TT at 61mph and only got 8.5 mpg:(

Actually I am very happy with the truck but not the mpg. I average 11 to 12 around town and I am very easy on the gas. I also only reached 16 mpg on the HW when I set cruise control at 64 mph

also do you run 87 or 89? How much ethanol is in your gas in your state?

I wonder if the difference is the aerodynamics between the 5er and the TT ?
