6.7 with Ford 6R140 transmission
Can you change the fluid in this tranny DIY like you could the old 5R by draining the pan then disconnecting the cooler lines, starting the truck and drain and fill at the same time to remove the rest...

The older trans....you could buy a 5 gal bucket of fluid for $40 and about 30 minutes you were done with the fluid change but if the 6R needs to be hot flushed $159 at the dealer will have to do. I thought the dealer would probably want about $400.
