6.7L Cummins (2012) or 6.7 Ford (2011) - Need Advice

Being the happy owner of a 2012 Ram, I went with it for two reasons, one being the reliability of the Cummins, and two the fact that it doesn't have DEF...didn't want to mess with it. I looked at Ford but they can't seem to figure out who they want to build their motors...not enough history for their 6.7 plus they had DEF, and GM wasn't even considered even though I could have gotten a GM discount.
