No, they installed an intake and an DPF back exhaust while returning the Edge to stock to get the added 64 hp and 158 lb-ft of torque so that is only two different variables.

How many diesels have you modded and ran on a dyno to make such a statement? I have done three prior to this truck. Every one of them increased roughly 15-30 hp and about 40-70 lb-ft with just an intake. They also consistently had lower EGTS when towing or pushing the engine. I don't have to guess, I know from experience.
