6.7L Cummins VS 6.7L Cummins HO

I don't think you will regret it. I have had no issues with mine.

I want to thank those of you that have replied. It appears that when ordering a 2023 RAM 3500 SRW Crew Cab long bed that the HO upgrade is now almost $4000 more not the $2800 it was for the 2022 model year. So we have gone with the regular 6.7L Cummins Diesel.

You can package a turd anyway you want and you've ultimately still got a turd. I wouldn't buy a vehicle with a CP4 in it.

Well Ram decided to go back to the CP3, and issued a recall on all 2019 and 2020 Rams with the CP4 to replace with the CP3.

"Everyone is calling it a CP3, but it’s actually a CP-ISB21. It’s certainly not the same CP3 that was used in 07.5-18"

For model years 19 and 20 they were stupid and went with the CP4 and they realized it was a bad ides. They are replacing all of the pumps on every one of those trucks at no cost to the customer.

I have owned and towed 15K plus with both. The HO does it better and the Aisin is better loaded, but its not by a large margin. I think starting at 15K and above the HO makes more sense. Also my HO gets about 1-2 MPG less in most situations.
