BYW/BF also explained that the greater the extension of the stabilizing jacks the lesser the effect of actually stabilizing the trailer. He suggested we go to Home Depot tomorrow (now today) and buy some cinder blocks to put under the jacks to reduce the distance to the ground therefor reducing the diminishing return of extension.... Gotta love him. I effectionately call him dumbass. He reminds me that my intelligence/ignorance quotient is really quite remarkable. I take it that's a compliment? LOL
