OK, now that the stress of the long drive and finicky van are over, the funny as h#ll is coming through loud and clear!
17 years ago I moved to a new company and was the 3rd Chris on a regular conference call (Chris #1 being my boss). So a colleague decided I should be Bubba instead (for similar reasons to dumbass above). I didn't let my ego get in the way of a good nickname, and it stuck within certain circles.
