Saturday 6/28 Great Fun!!!
We did Garden of the Gods! Then had to drive up Pikes Peak! Then back down to Cave Of the Winds! Brilliant idea to take DW into a dark cave! She kept calling me Rin Tin Tin as I guided her through. DW and I did the Zip Line across the canyon! Dumb and Dumber, BF and I did the Chair/Cable Swing across the canyon!!! I'm gettin too old for S--t like that!!! Dumb-ass calculated the statistical safety quotient and decided it was safe... He didn't figure in my beating the******out of him. It was fun! I'm glad I did it! He's ten years older than I am.... He said, "you know, book knowledge is not the same as experiencing it. I'll never do anything like that again." We rode the Cog Train back up to Pikes Peak... It was late in the day and much colder!!! BF met a widow on the train... They talked the whole way..... I asked if he got her number and he said no. I get that.
Today we're breaking camp and heading North. BF flies back home tonight. DW and I are enjoying his company but we're looking forward to our time alone together.
