6'4' 385 Pound Brother N Law - Help Please

Hi all,

I have a concern about my Brother N Law and I hope I don't offend any one here. I am wanting to take my 2010 Jayco Jayflight 26bh to the deer lease and if I do, it would be quite rude to tell him he cannot use it. Is this too much weight for the floor, beds, couch, toilet, shower, etc?

Thanks
Clay

Yah, tough situation. Many obese people choose to ignore the fact the world - and especially trailers - are not built for them. Good luck.

Even the entry steps won't handle that.

  • hmmm, im not offended but I am finding this very funny. im 345 6' and use every bit of my camper including the shower.

If he does come make sure he brings his own food!
  • Clay,
Your going to have to be honest with him. Not all furniture, vehicles, TT, beds, floors, etc.. are made to with stand heavy people. We have a couple of (hum) larger family members and friends and we had to be honest with them after a couple of chairs and a couch (buckled) were destroyed. There comment was "I guess they are old, guess you better buy better quality." The two females weighed in close to your B-I-L. We hurt feelings but no longer have to replace furniture and lawn furniture. (They bring there own lawn chairs)

    Good luck, Carmen
