They have a chart showing the hp gains for each tune. No other mods needed, although I did a 4" exhaust on mine also and boost and temp guages. I did a lot of reading as I didn't want to damage anything. I came to the conclusion that these were the safest tunes.

I have had Jody's (DP) tunes for 6 yrs towing heavy in this Az heat in the mtns. Never an issue and have been very happy. In the beginning Jody tweaked them a couple of times to get then to my liking and the rest has been good. Lots of good tuner out there for a 7.3. Most have been doing it for years & have it dialed in.
