I too hate my truck without a tune - even the 40HP. I would hate to think of having to drive it without one. Once you have one you wont ever want to go back.

I think you can get a tuner with a shelf tune for about $300-350. As I stated I do believe with all else stock a shelf tune should make a world of difference.

Tunes, injectors, or turbos, hands down the SINGLE best thing improvement I have ever had on any vehicle.but the tuner is about 1/5 the cost of the other 2. Injectors are about $350.00 each (X8) and a good upsized turbo is about $2500.00 plus labor for installation.
