- VannnceExplorer2002 f350 SRW tuned with a bunch of other goods I get about 12.5 pulling 13k. Wind and mountains have dropped me down to 9 though
EDIT: this is also with 35's and 3.73 gears. typically do between 65-70 in OD - NashTTExplorerDon't have it any more, but I kept records when I did. My '95 F250 club cab 4.00 rear got between 13 and 15 towing a 2003 30' Fleetwood Yukon at 8900 lbs., 15+ pretty consistently pulling a 1990 Jayco 25ft. Drove the truck for 17 years before it developed electrical problems and also consumed 3 lift pumps. I do remember buying diesel fuel for .799 in Kentucky in the late 90's---pretty good days then. Used stanadyne fuel treatment every fill up.
- George_HExplorer2001 Supercab dually - auto, 4X4, 4:10 gears- 9 year average is 11 mpg with a combination weight near 21k. Have an old Superchips programmer running in "tow safe" mode.
- Fire19ExplorerI have a 2000 F350 Dually with 3.73 and pulling a 13,000lb 5th wheel I average around 9-12 mpg depending on speed and terrain.
- Trail-MateExplorer9-13 towing a 12,500 lb fifth wheel. Running TS chip at 50 hp towing setting. My truck has 4:10 gearing. I get a hand calculated 20mpg not towing, Truck is my daily driver. Current Mileage on my truck is 235K.
- WyoTravelerExplorerI suspect much of the mpg difference is rear axle. Mine had a 4.73 and about 8 mpg. With 4.73 axle never used 1st gear.
- diazr2Explorer2001 7.3 average 11 pulling 9.5K. The least I have gotten is 7.3 pulling in the Colombian River Gorge. Man was it windy.. That Gorge is not a nice place in the wind. At certain times it would drop down to 3 but by the time I got out it had settled in at 7.3
- shadows4Nomad5er in my sig is about 9800 lbs. I usually tow 62-65 mph, and average 9-10. Completely stock.

I have an 01 f250 with a 4in lift and 35in tires towing about a 10k Nash Camper. All the towing is in the western states (ie Mtn passes)
I get about 9-10 pretty consistently in the mtn passes. It will creep up to 11, maybe 12, when it flattens out.
I tow around 70mph in 75 zones and at 1900-1950 rpms.
I was really hoping to get a solid 12 for most all my towing with this set up, but it has not happened.....Im sure the 4in lift and 35s are not helping.
Without the camper about 17 on the hwy and 13-14 around town. - bfast54Explorer2000 7.3 Crew,Dually Long bed...4:10,6 speed manual, 17,000 lbs.(total).....9-13 towing,usually 11,12mpg
With a "diablo" tuner.......Passing cars Uphill...(course,milesge drops a tad,if I rolll Coal..)..L.OL:W
