There is a fuse in the fuse box under the hood. When it comes from the factory, there is a blank fuse that you must replace with a 30 amp fuse. They send it with the blank in case you are not going to use it. I believe this is in fuse position number one on your truck.
So, probably one of two things. If this is the first time you've tried to tow with this truck, then the blank fuse needs to be changed with a live one. Or, if it worked before, this fuse is probably blown. Other than that, we'll need more details to help you trouble shoot.
