On my '05 and '07 Chevy's I had to not only connect the wire that was hidden under the under-hood fuse box, I also had to install the fuse. The wire hooks to one of the studs and will likely require the metric version of a 5/16 nut. An M10 I think.
I don't understand why GM makes their truck owners complete the assembly of the vehicle. You'd think for the money a truck costs they could hook up one more wire.
