Simple procedure. The fuse tap uses 2 fuses. One to protect the original circuit where you install the tap and the second to protect what you connect to the wire on the tap. Pull the fuses from the tap and plug the tap into the fuse box. If you have 12v on the wire without the fuses (be sure the ignition switch is on), reverse the way the fuse tap is plugged in.
