Good Evening,
I stumbled across this forum in one of my searches. I just got a Holiday travel trailer. It is around 23' from tongue to bumper. Don't have an exact on that. From what I've seen folks advertising, supposing that they know what they are talking about, I have a 1973 Holiday Vacationer. A friend gave it to me that was on a deer lease with me. It is dry, no leaks. He said that 3 years ago, he pulled it fully functioning from another lease where they had water and sewer hooked up. He further stated that the gas lines were fully functional.
Since he gave it to me and I only have about $300 in it so far (tires, lights, wiring), I was trying to figure out how to start rebuilding it. I've attached a picture of it being towed back to the lease when I thought that old tires could make it 4hours north to Dallas. Yes, Yes, I learned a lesson. :) Thank God for Triple A!!
Someone mentioned earlier about having some informational material about this unit or another unit similar. Would love to find out how to obtain it.
Lastly, yes I know, lengthy post, I seen somewhere that I could change out the hubs on the current axles to a 5bolt Ford hub with very little trouble. Any ideas?
