Don't you just love the tree huggers thinking they are doing the planet a favor by buying the latest and greatest hybrid. They don't have a clue about all the land that was mined, the energy used, and pollution caused in building their never ending supply of vehicles.
My clunker is 36 years old, looks and runs just fine. Think about the scrap heap caused by those that would have bought ten vehicles during those 36 years. Yes, I do have newer vehicles as well.
You obviously don't have a clue. My Prius was bought to use as a work route vehicle loaded with tools and parts for my job. Had nothing to do with trees or the planet. The handful of other people I know who have bought hybrids bout them for the mileage, not the planet. Nor do you know what you're talking about with manufacturing of vehicles. My previous ten vehicles are probably still on the road somewhere serving their owners well. And my new vehicles puts money back into our economy. Next.:B
